I had planned on visiting Phitsanulok for just 1 day, but ended up staying much longer because of the great hostess at Hostelbed. Sunny is absolutely awesome! She made me feel right at home and gave me a true local experience. The hostel itself is cozy and feels like a real Thai home. The dorms are well organized, providing privacy with curtains and ample space for luggage. The living room is warm and comfy, with free drinking water and a great view of the river. Sunny even gave me recommendations on places to visit and eat. The location is also convenient, within walking distance of attractions. I highly recommend this place for a unique and authentic Thai experience!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

the beds were in their own private little rooms, offering a beautiful view overlooking the water. the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. the shower and bathroom facilities were decent, and I especially enjoyed eating on the terrace while admiring the lovely view of the river. the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, speaking perfect English. I had an easy check-in and check-out at any time. it was the nicest place I stayed in Thailand, and I highly recommend it.
It was all superb! 😊

Beautiful river view: the property had a really cool, handmade wooden shack design with beds in private little rooms, all overlooking the water. It was such a treat waking up to the stunning view every morning.
Limited lighting: the bedrooms had almost no lighting, making it quite dark in the evenings. It would have been nice to have better lighting for reading or doing other activities in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at Hostelbed! The hostel was clean and had a stunning view of the river. The owner, Sunny, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We were able to do laundry for a very reasonable price and the kitchen had all the necessary appliances. The Wi-Fi was reliable and we even got to meet the adorable cat named Warm. Despite being a light sleeper, everyone else in our group slept soundly. we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hostel.

The rooms at Hostelbed @ Phitsanulok were cozy and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I loved having a TV and kitchen in my guest room, making it convenient for relaxing and cooking my own meals. Plus, the shared bathroom was clean and equipped with a shower and free toiletries, adding to the overall comfort.
Personally, I would have preferred if the shared bathroom had a hairdryer. But hey, that's just my preference.

The best thing about my stay was the incredible view from the balcony. It was absolutely mesmerizing to overlook the river and enjoy the local wildlife. I couldn't get enough of the calming and beautiful scenery. the host Sunny was beyond amazing. She was so welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. She took the time to explain the local attractions and gave great recommendations. It felt like staying with a friend rather than at a hotel.
The light in the bed area wasn't bright enough. It was a bit dim, which made it a little bit difficult to read or see things properly.

Breakfast delights, but it would have been even better with more variety.
